Most cards are made with only one layer (fabric on single-sided sticky-foil).To cut in the model and bend it you will get a nice 3-d look.Making a wishing card will cost you less time and less fabric because you use only one layer.
For making wishing-cards with fabrics you need:
▪ Single-sided sticky-foil (Aslan white), hard
▪ Double-sided sticky-foil (Aslan
orange), soft
▪ Lurex / tulle-metal,gold, silver or coulored
▪ Stickless-glitterglue,gold, silver or coulored
▪ Stickers for borders etc.
▪ Foamtape or 3-D kit
First you cut globally the pattern out
of the fabric, you do the same with the white hard Aslan and you glue the
cut-out pattern on the Aslan. The protecting foil of the Aslan you can easily
remove with the point of a needle. With a sharp-pointed 3D scissors you now
cut-out the pattern precisely. Because the fabric is glued on the Aslan, it will
not ravel out.Cut the pattern in so you can bend the pattern more easily. After
putting a little 3D lute or a piece of Foamtape on the back you now glue it on
the card.It works easily to use a tweezer.
If you want you can
finish off the wishing card with coloured glitter-glue, and stickers. You have
made a whishing-card with one layer but the bended figure will give you a nice
3-D effect. If you want a card with two layers you can make one layer with
double-sided sticky foil and then glue another layer on it with single-sided
sticky foil.
Making
passepartout cards you can glue some lurex/tulle behind the passepartout. Then
you can put a piece of another card at the back.
If
you have difficulties with cutting fabrics and Aslan-hard (sticky-foil), you
can use a very sharp Fiskars-scissors with spring. We have them for sale.

You'll almost regret
